Millenilink is supporting a government client seeking a Senior UX Designer to support multiple product teams across a range of applications. This is a 10.5 month contract setup to be hybrid, however it is possible that this may be negotiated. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user-centred design, experience in public sector environments, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to enhance digital experiences.
Lead user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Translate user feedback and research findings into actionable design solutions.
Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure feasible and effective UI/UX decisions.
Contribute to information architecture, blueprinting, and documentation to support development teams.
Advocate for accessibility, usability, and design best practices across multiple internal product teams.
🔍 Key Qualifications:
5+ years of UX design experience, ideally with some time in public sector environments
Mastery of design tools such as Figma (required) and Balsamiq or similar tools.
Demonstrated ability to bridge communication between users and technical teams.
Experience with user stories, persona development, ideation sessions, and design thinking methodologies.
Strong communication skills—can present ideas clearly, justify design decisions with logic, and handle constructive feedback well.
Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in non-standardized or evolving environments.
