One of Millenilink’s client in the consulting industry is hiring an Entra ID strategic advisor to help them work with a large enterprise end client to strategize and roadmap a move from Active Directory to Entra ID identity services. An individual with both functional and technical understanding of Entra ID is what is required in this role. Specifically, this individual must have experience working with executive stakeholders, explaining the business benefits of Entra ID, and creating buy-in for the migration. Additionally, the successful individual should be able to diagram an initial roadmap with priorities and wholistic understanding of how these technical decisions will impact the business. This location can be located anywhere in Canada.

In order to qualify for this opportunity candidates MUST have:

• Experience interfacing with executive stakeholders and explaining the functional benefits of moving from Active Directory to Entra ID

• Ability to lead client conversations in an Architect / SME capacity for AD, Entra ID related aspects.

• Experience with enterprise AD (on-prem) and Entra architecture, solutioning/implementation, and deployment space.

• Expertise in hybrid cloud identity models, and mapping legacy AD features to Microsoft Entra.

• Strong understanding of Entra ID capabilities/limitations around:

  • App Authentication/Authorization Modernization: moving to SAML/OIDC, SCIM from legacy LDAP/Kerberos integrations

  • Primary user & group store and management.

  • Devices: End user device management, print/file server management, GPOs, etc.

  • Servers & Domain Services

  • Downstream services (currently relying on AD)

• MS Azure/Entra certifications are a plus.
